Will a girl ever forget their ex?

was with my girlfriend for a year and a half, had a rocky relationship, but loved each other more than anything in the world. I would do anything for her and she would do anything for me. I would take a bullet for her and she would the same. but we recently broke up a week ago and it think its pretty much like done, but she initiated the break up and she said that we should have a break and talk to other people but if we don't like anyone we should talk again but it didn't happen and she wants nothing to do with me out of the blue..and I didn't do nothing for this break it was pretty random..so does she still love me? and does she still want me? I recent had a girl write on my facebook wall and my ex commented on it with attitude to the girl. what's going on in her mind? she always says we won't get married or we won't have the future we wanted because of my parents traditional background. what's going on? and also I'm her first true love and she's mine also

Girls tend to be a little more emotional than guys. Speaking from experience, I've never forgotten any of my exes, granted they do deserve to be forgotten, but this thing beating in my chest called a heart won't allow it. I think the most painful break up is the most difficult to get over...I'm still getting over it despite the fact the relationship's been over for about 3 years. Has it stopped me from meetin other guys? At first yes, but at the moment, no. I mean why should I compromise my own happiness, just because I'm not with my ex. Also, I don't stay friends or communicate with my exes. I tried to but I think it hinders you from truly moving forward. I suppose it really depends on how you deal with things, but that's just how I function.

Now you mentioned that your ex got mad at some girl who posted on your facebook. Hmmm...either she still has feelings for you or is just jealous that another girl is giving you attention. It's a territorial thing I guess. I don't know if you were friends before you started dating and what you're relationship is like now after the breakup, but I think that you should take some time off each other. Like, take her off your facebook, and just put some distance between the to of you so that you can grieve the end of your relationship and figure yourself out without having her in your life. Also, spending that time apart will allow you to accept the fact that you aren't together and prepare you for what's ahead. Unless you want her back as your girlfriend, which is an entirely different thing in itself. I find that most people don't give themselves time to heal in between relationships & just hop from one partner to the next. And by the end of it all, they end up hurting themselves. wow thanks allot but I don't know what to do. its been 2 weeks since she broke up with me and I don't go on facebook anymore because I don't want to see what she's talking with about guys on her facebook or whos she's adding and stuff. and she keeps texting me "how are you" and stuff like tht and she texted me saying sorry we left off on a bad foot and I just want to be friends and you'll always be my love forever until I die. she said that but I never responded. I'm just going to keep deleteing her texts and

never text her back. what should I do though? I think she still loves me and she says she doesn't like anyone so I shouldn't be worrying about that and she sent me a text saying "i f***ing miss you" but I didn't respond. does she still want me? and is there a chance we can get back together if I leave her alone for a month and not speak to her?

Ok, so the break up is still very recent. It's natural to have these lingering feelings, but if you really want to get over her, just keep doing what you're doing now. Don't take her calls, delete here texts. As for facebook, block & delete her for the time being. Just because she's on there, doesn't mean you can't be either, just block & delete her. I think part of the problem is you haven't really figured out what you want for yourself. Ask yourself, 'Do I still love her? or Do I not love her?'

Before asking if your ex still likes you, I really think that you should ask yourself that question first. When you have that all figured out, then & only then can you decide what to do next. So before doing anything else, sit yourself down somewhere quiet & dig deep into you heart. It may seem kinda embarassing but be true to yourself & what it is that you really want to come out of all of this. Because when you think about it, you're the other half in any relationship you get into. So figure out..

It seems kinda selfish, but it'll save you from any confusion & heartache later on if you do decide to get back with her & then find out later that you don't feel the same way about her anymore. If you want her back, sit down & talk with her in person. Ditch the texting & quit playing hide-and-seek. Be frank, honest, but sincere. It may seem scarey, but at least you're being honest to yourself. What you do now can greatly affect the outcome of all of this.

I will NEVER forget my ex. He was my first love. I am in another relationship of a year and a few months right now, and not a week passes that I don't think of my ex (we broke up 3 years ago). A part of me will always love him.

A girl never forgets an ex, there was a reason she went out with a guy and she will always remember it, it all boils down to why they broke up. but a girl always remembers exs, even if we don't want to.

She won't forget you, but she will move on. At first you'll think about her a lot, then as time goes by you'll be reminded of her less, and hopefully at some point you'll find somebody else who makes you feel batter than the first. Then you get to start the process all over again.
