Dumped in 3 weeks by a shy guy, why me ?

I started dating a shy guy in my school . We are in graduate school , he has never dated before and this was my second relationship . I Haven't been seeing anybody for 3 years . I asked him out first and then we started hanging out . I dint want to rush into things , I wanted to know him better but he kissed me on our 3rd date and then things went really fast the next 3 weeks. All I did was text him twice a day saying have a nice day & good night . We had a wonderful date before spring break and when I come back from spring break , he dumps me . he says I don't like you as you like me and says that the relationship was one sided and he dint feel anything for me . I thought he was the one and now I am heart broken . What did I do wrong ?

On our last date he palnned stuff and now he doesn't feel anything for me . I see him at school everyday and I feel so bad , so stupid for making such a bad decision . Its been a week and I am still not able to get over him .

I'm really sorry to hear that. It doesent seem like you did anything wrong but, I've been in a lot of relationships. Sometimes it works out perfect and somethimes it doesen't. Although getting your heart broken is like learning your A B C's it happens to everyone (yes everyone). Including me, famous people, and people you don't even know that sit 3 rows down in class. You push through it, everyone does, you learn from relationships and your heart grows stronger trying to find that life-long partner. So when you do meet him you'll know how to hit it off and how to see if he's the guy for you. Also your not alone in this. There is a complete section on this website for break-ups for a reason. Because you try to trust someone with everything and, when it doesent work out, it stings. It's what you do afterward and what you make of it that determins how much stronger you'll be when you meet the right guy. Don't give up make the best of it and you'll do magnificent. I'm sorry, it sounds like you didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes it just doesn't work out, just keep your head up and keep busy. Things will get better for you, and you sound like a really great person, and he just didn't see that, you'll find someone that appreciates you! I hope this helps!

So this was about a month long? You guys text everyday or was that for one day?

What did you say to him when he told you what he told you?

And what exacty went 'fast'?

This was 4 weeks , on our last date he planned abt the stuff we were going to do after we both come back . He said that we were in a relationship and I was his girlfriend and we can tell our colleagues now . We are not in high school , so I thought that his words were real . We texted have a nice day & good night everyday . Going fast was sleeping together . when I asked him , he said he did not know what he was doing with me for past 4 weeks .
