Why would a guy dump me due to “lack of mutual attraction” when he asked me to be his girlfriend a few days before?

I went on three dates with a guy with my MeetUp group in less than three weeks. On the third date, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was taken aback by all of this being that we had only known each other for less than a month and each date was 2-3 hours each. I told him that I was not ready for that level of commitment yet and wanted to get to know him more. Three days later, he dumps me due to “lack of mutual attraction” and it “doesn’t feel right”.

Honestly I wish girls would learn how to read guys because every time they're lying to you they will tell you the truth in the same breath and not even know it but you have to listen and you have to just pay attention to his eyes and the words coming out of his mouth and also what he's not saying if you can do that then you will know every guy's intentions as if they're for real or if they're not.

I guess he wanted it to move along faster, or maybe he just wanted sex. When you didn't get down and dirty with him he dumped you. Maybe that was all he wanted to begin with. Whatever the reason, just move on and try again, and don't let it bother you.

That’s him being a man, simply direct on what he wants from you. He is ready to commit in a relationship with you. Since you’re not ready, he decided not to pursue you (not dump you). I don’t see anything wrong with that.
