Shy guy who was flirting for months refused to look at me and ran away. Thoughts?

He started staring coyly at me. We've only had one short convo and he was clearly nervous. Sometimes if he sees me he looks downright terrified.

One friend of his who I say a good hi to would always tell him when I was around. Figured he was shy, went to approach him. He refused to look at me. Freaked out and ran away. I've been ignoring him because he was kinda rude.

Shy guy way of rejecting a girl or no?

I don't think he was rejecting you because if you didn't have a crush on someone you might feel bad to reject them but you shouldn't be nervous to but if you have a crush on someone and if you are shy it might be intimidating for them if their crush approaches them. If you said that when you talked he was nervous, then he probably is shy and if he freaked out then maybe he wasn't trying to be rude.
Maybe just tell him what was that about or maybe text him which could be easier for him if he is shy.

I think he did try to approach me a couoke of ours later but he didn't actually come up to me. He has to make a bold move because I've come up to him twice. He's tall, muscular and thick. Im a petite woman. Come in. I don't have friends here Im in a foreign country.

I literally know his name. Looking at him I would so no older than 25 but his face is yunf he could be 23. I'm guessing maybe he has a girlfriend or is married... Also, there are lkke bazilliond of people around always. It's very easy to just go aorind the corner and speak but. Before, he seemed pissed I wouldn't really be inviting because I wasn't sure about his intentions. Now I opened up and pushed a tiny bit his losing his mind. I really am not cinvinced convinced it's shyness. I really think he's a manipulator. He will use his friends but I don't get their secret messages. Also, we don't really speak the same languauge. I don't want to be sending messages through his friends because I'm a grown up.
