I basically broke up with my former ex boyfriend yesterday, it was totally out of nowhere too, he was half-way out the door and I said "I can't do this anymore, its too risky, I'm sorry." And he didn't say anything, like not a word, WHY!?

Because if you meant it, why do you worry about him not saying a word!?

I did mean it. I was in tears lol. I did want. Reaction, not necessarily I good one but at least something.

Not second guessing... The issue is he's the one that tried so hard to get back in my life and to just accept something like this so easily is crazy to me

If you don't want him back don't dwell on it and move on

I agree. I was in shock that it came out of my mouth that abruptly. He gave me a hug and left. He also left something here and needs to come back and get it. Do I try to explain myself?

I really doubt he'll ask me too. He's not very emotionally open. He's most likely just going to act like he's totally okay with it. We dated about 3.5 years ago for over a year and then stopped speaking for another year and then reconnected and have been seeing each other for another year and a few months now. Clearly we have a history but he won't fully commit to me... So why should I bother? The worst part is that he came back to me. I don't know what his issue is...
