Should I wish my ex boyfriend happy birthday when he has a new girl in his life?

i really love him a lot and want him back! we have been broken up for 6 months now and have not contacted each other since then.. I found out recently that he has a new girlfriend so his birthday is tomorrow I don't know if I should wish him?

he tried contacting me before like 2 months ago I ignored him because I was mad at him...and since then he never messaged me and I feel like he has moved on...so I don't know if I should contact him saying happy birthday?

I wouldn't. You guys have been done for 6 months. You ignored him 2 months ago and still seem to hold grudge toward him (justifiably or not). To me it appears as if you finally miss him because he finally moved on and is with someone else now. This is a natural and understandable feeling. But, let's be honest, it's about more than wishing him happy birthday, and it could put him in an awkward position with the new girl he is with, so you shouldn't do it I think

yes I did ignore him for 2 mmonths because when I called him he he never picked up but he did call back to find out why I called him he even emailed me couple of times I was really mad...he dumped me ...spread rumours bout me...did so much to hurt me...that girl he is seeing is probably a rebound...and he doesn't know that I know he is with someone...i know he hurt me a lot and I shouldn't be bothered about it because he was a jerk...but once upon a time he meant something to me. I don't know what to do?

Way too many girls say their boyfriend is a jerk but still love him and want to be with him. Why? Because they say the bad stuff that he did to them but totally hide the bad stuff they did to him and play the poor victim.

So either he is a jerk and you move on, or the issues were shared and that's why you feel like he's still worth it. You characterize the other girl as a rebound, I'm sure she won't mind you getting in the middle!

You'd welcome another woman doing that to you, right? lol

i agree, but the only thing I did was I was sorta possesive in the relationship because his friends were all girls..and he always went on lunch with them like one on one and he used to pay for them as well.. and that thing used to tick me off whenever I said its like a date he was like no it isnt...i don't know how he could move on so fast...he emailed me saying after the break up that his life is much better without me and he won't be thinking bout any other girl and here he is with another woman..

i just wanted him to make other guy friends as well not just only friends who are girls..plus he used to buy chocolates for his friends(girls) occasionally..like who would do that? specially when you have a girlfriend I don't know I guess I am hurt more now that I found out he is with someone else and that girl he is dating currently is one of the girls from his group...i sorta want him back..bcoz we had many amazing memories together ..i don't know you think its worth it?

Do it. Regardless of whether or not you two decide to get back together, there's no harm in wishing someone happy birthday. People want attention on their birthdays, and I'm sure it will mean a lot to him to see a message from you.

I would say happy birthday and if he says anything more of a thank you then have a quick polite reply but that is all
