Why is my ex friends with his other exes, but not me?

we were together for 2 years, we broke up basically cause he wanted to be his own person and have his freedom. He's always kept relationships with his exes, but will not talk to me at all. I don't get it.

Don't feel bad.

I had many experiences with girls. Thing is, I never left any girlfriend of mine I've ever dated. They leave me and never really give a reason as of to why.

So.. to answer your question. I myself have had a hard time being friends after a relationship with my ex. But after a couple months and a year or two I got over the fact that I have no more feelings of intimacy with them and that I can be able to talk to them without having a hard time with my emotions getting in the way.

I don't talk to two of my ex's but I do talk to some here and there.

You two dated for two years, that's a long time. I think the reason why he won't talk to you is because he doesn't want his emotions to get into the way, he may not feel as strong as he did for you once, but he just doesn't want to reattach himself or make way for you again to make him vulnerable. I think he just has a hard time to accept you as a friend after such a long relationship that he wouldn't be able to cope with it.

I know that right now I wouldn't be able to talk to one of my ex's cause I'd let my emotions get in the way of a conversation. I think he just doesn't want to reattach himself. I kinda know why he probably wont. Its just he wants to feel secure about himself not let you get in the way of anything. Doesn't want to start thinking about the two of you again and what could have been.

I know it is frustrating, I remember I kept deleting my ex's off FB and stuff cutting contact yet they kept wanting to be friends, I gave into it later on cause I finally had enough respect for them after they left me.

Don't worry.. its not really you I believe, its just the guy. He just doesn't want emotions attached or get confused about you and rethink things over.

Thank you for this question and answer. I've been going through the exact same thing. He talks to every single one of his exes except for me. It is so weird. He blocked me on social media as well. Strange thing is that we will see each other again because we are in laws. So it's so awkward. He always looks awkward and nervous around me at family functions. I just want to be friends with him. When we do communicate, it's fine. No arguments, nothing. But just when I think we can be friends, he just abruptly stops communicating. It's the oddest thing that I've every experienced. We didn't end on bad terms. He told a family member that he felt intimidated by me because I made more and had more education and a "better" career. But honestly, I ever talked about finances with him, nothing like that. So this is so confusing. I really liked him, but oh well. It just sucks that I have to see him again. It's not like I can cut him completely off.

honestlly coming from a guys point of view, he probably doesn't talk to ever x-g friend , its just the ones you see that with, sometimes not caring is the most you can do , maybe there is something that he just can't stand about you, but if there is something he coannot stand about you, you need to ask yourself "why am I worried if I'm not with him" and "if he's bothered by me that much, and doesn't wanna talk to me then how would he treat me if I was around and he was just doing it to humor me" but I geuss the real old age question is , if he's talking to them, then y should you be part of his life, put yourself on a higher ground then everone else, and don't become o"one of the exes he still talks too" be something better then that because the fact s show he might not be a great person from just that, no matter what way you cut it
