But do you actually think differently or badly about someone if they answer you right away?
Does it really matter how fast you text back?

Trending & News I am very annoyed about the rule that if you wait long enough to text back, you'll seem more interesting. I text everyone back pretty much right away, since I always have my phone with me (unless I'm genuinely busy and don't have my phone with me). If I don't hear back from a guy in 2 days, after asking a simple question, It just makes me feel ignored. Also, I don't like that your level of coolness is measured by this rule. Just be who you are. If you like to text back fast, because it's just pointless to make people wait, then be it.
rules and games are stupid and make a relationship flawed and distasteful.
if a guy and girl truly like/love each other just be real with each other and be yourself.
i reply right away and if I am truly busy at work with my boss around or in a meeting or taking an exam, ill provide the reasoning why I couldn't reply earlier later.
If they text back right away I think, "Oh, they were waiting for my reply."
If we're having a long conversation, though, and they always respond immediately it's a bit weird. Otherwise I don't really care.
I can't do that, I'd forget and literally never respond back. I have mild type OCD, has to do with numbers, and I'm constantly deleting my message box because of it. So if you text me and I don't respond, there's usually a very good chance I'll clear my inbox and forget/never respond.
I get the waiting thing (constricting the flow of attention to built attraction) I just can't personally engage in that behavior.
No, I think it's incredibly stupid. "Oh hey someone texted me, I guess I'll-oh no wait, gotta play it cool can't text back right away."
That's horsesh*t if you want to talk to a person then do it, don't d*** them around to try to "tantalize" them or some other baloney.
Yeah people really could care less. Though I'm guilty of waiting.

I don't care... but I never text back quickly because I have an attention span of a fly and do a million others things within five minutes or I just forget to respond. (I'm bad with texting).
No, I would much rather have someone text me back right away than have to worry about a deadline. I don't have time for things like that. If you're interested, then text me back!
No. I'd prefer them to do it right away. If you text me back later and weren't busy I'd think you didn't care to talk to me. Any time constraint rules are complete bullsh*t.
F*** these rules, it's just proper etiquette to reply back when someone texts.
