How long does it typically take you to text back?

Obviously it varies depending on what you're doing at the time or who the person is but I often notice some of my friends have frequent very fast response times and some have frequent very long response times so I was curious

For me it's usually around half an hour because I'll often ignore notifications for a while unless it's about something urgent or from someone I really want to talk to

I've been known to go several hours or a full day before responding to a text, unless it's an emergency. I don't really enjoy texting. Besides, I'm usually doing something else, so I see a text, put it down to finish what I'm doing, then forget about it for who knows how long. If you really want to talk to me, you're far better off calling so I can talk while still using my hands for other things.

Multiple days. Any conversation gets boring if you text all the time. Give it a few days, you'll have more to talk about. Also if they were a true friend, they would have patience for you.

It depends on how busy I am. But usually I reply back within minutes!

Only hours or longer if it's a really long reply and I don't have the time to reply right away so I wait until I'm free. Or it's someone I don't feel like talking to... like that one annoying coworker that messages me on the weekend when I'm trying to relax and not think about work 🙄

It depends who the person is. Anywhere from a minute to a few days. There's only one person I text back immediately these days. Most people I text within the hour

I usually reply to text messages within seven to ten business day! On the other hand when it comes to my sister if I don’t reply within two minutes she’ll send me seven more messages & if she gets pissed off she’ll call.
