Me and my boyfriend broke up. He begs me to forgive him and then breaks up with me again. I feel like it’s emotional abuse?

I know he’s playing with me and definitely doesn’t care about me the way he did before. He keeps going back to the same girl we broke up about. I do my best to let go and move on. I’ve blocked him and he finds a way to talk to me. I admit I tried to win him over because my ego was hurt over the other girl. But he hurt me enough and I gave up. He begged cried for me back. To break up with me again and go back to this girl. I feel like I’m losing my mind. I’m so ashamed and I can’t seem to let go. Why is he playing with me?

I had this same problem. It went on for seven or eight months. Every month he made up a new reason to breakup with me. It absolutely is emotional abuse. He’s just looking for control. All he wants is someone that he can treat like garbage and they’ll still be nice to him. He’s just looking to have power over you. It’s really difficult but you just have to dump him and move on. End it for good and find someone better because the way he acts now is how he will act forever.

That is emotional abuse. He has you right where he wants you, and that's a shame. You need to break those chains he's got on you, or it's going to hurt you long term.
