My ex dumped me, but looks sad when she sees me with my new girlfriend?

she was also dating another guy. she dumped me. but when she sees me with my new girlfriend at a party or somewhere, she looks really sad and visibly upset. stares inquisitively. we are on NC. she doesn't even talk anymore to my friends who she knows well. If she was single, I'd say for sure she still likes me. But she's dating some guy, so what's this all mean..? Does she like me? want me back? she wants me to talk to her and win her back? I have self respect and I don't want to be the one to say I miss her and want her back. She also has pride and is a pretty strong independent career girl. What do you guys/girls think? Any advice..

She probably still loves you. She dumped you, but probably regretted it afterward (I don't know how long afterward, maybe even when she was with her new boyfriend and she then realized what she had). Maybe she didn't know how to tell you this, especially since you have a new girlfriend. You not fighting for your relationship with her and giving up so fast , makes her unsure if you still love her and taking a new girlfriend, makes her more unsure. And I'm not saying it's your fault. But if you still love her, tell her your feelings.

i do still love her and mis her. and want to be with her. but what do I say exactly to her? how do I make this happen. Keep in mind I have self resprect and want her to respect me too, so I can go begging her back and confess everything..

That's your pride talking. Pride prevents a lot of couples getting back together after a break-up and you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Just call her up and asks if she wants to meet to talk, because it will be better in person and not over the phone. In person you can also see her body language. Tell her how you feel and that you need to know how she feels. If she doesn't feel the same way, you tell her that it's good you know and now you can move on with your life.

It probably means she really did love you. But beware that there is just a certain element of pride involved too. If you didn't fight her on breaking up or you didn't go through a period where you begged to come back, then she might feel jilted, basically that she didn't mean enough to you for you to be really upset about it, and even "ruined" for all other women. It's pretty f*cked up.
