We broke up after some stupid fight last week and agreed on space. Then my friend calls me and says she saw him on tinder. Does it hurt more if I just block him on everything without explanation or call him in the morning and tell him he messed up and that we are done for good.

Why do you feel the need to block if he's not bothering you? Or why not just remove vs block? You both are probably on different pages when it comes to "space". Maybe you didn't consider it a break up, but I know I would have and probably most guys would? I don't believe in "space" or "breaks", to me that simply means the person wants out and is too cowardly to say it. So he's probably just trying to move on. And this is how a lot of guys do it, but jumping into another one quickly. Not the healthiest way, but how a lot of guys "deal" with a breakup.

Hoping he will be around after a break comes into play is not guaranteed. Maybe he is physically done with the relationship. If a couple goes lengths to the point where they need to break up to prove their argument, they aren’t compatible
