Is he trying to use me?

My ex texted me out of the blue. This is the second time he texted me and had told me “I kinda of miss you, how are you doing?” At the point I’m not sure what he wants or should I even feel down about it for him not messaging me back yet?

What was the reason why you separated? Was it because he did use you in the past or for another reason?

My belief is that he trying to get you to come back so that he can "use you" for sex and nothing more. I think his current relation is not doing well or that he is still single and he needs someone to be with that can take care of his sexual needs.

I would not play his game and draw a line over this past relation.
