Girls, Why would you take so long to get your things from his place after you broke up with him?

Why would a woman bring a guy his things, break up with him, not take her things, weeks later make contact, set up a time to get them, only to cancel the day before, continue to stay in touch, but still, over 2 months after the breakup not try to make a time to get them. I’m not talking just a few cheap things

Maybe it’s about being emotionally overwhelmed, so procrastinating out of dread or anxiety about how uncomfortable it would feel.

That’s a good point, I haven’t cared to see her, and I think the only reason I haven’t gotten rid of those things is because they’ve been in a closet I never use, so it’s been completely out of mind
