My ex boyfriend enlisted in the army and he is now gone to Iraq, advice?

before he left he told me he's still in love with me and that he still thinks I'm the one. We broke up 5 months ago because we were going through a rough time but he was my first serious relationship. He said he hopes I'll wait for him to come back but I'm not so sure. I don't know what to do, I do care for him a lot and I'm worried but I don't think I'm in love with him, I've missed him a lot at times but then others I just can't forget that he cheated on me and that's how I fell out of love for him. I told him to be safe and be careful and that I'll pray for him but I DID not tell him I would wait for him. I'm not sure as to what to do? I care so much for him but I don't know if I'm IN love with him? I have had 2 boyfriends after him and they did not work, should I just stop looking and wait for him and see how it goes from there? I kind of want to give it another shot but I'm not so sure? Help please!

id move on if I were you. war changes people, the person that left won't be the same person that comes back. chances are you will be very severely disapointed by the person that does come back. chances are he won't care or will be withdrawn from the relationship.

plus I don't know why you would want to have to worry about the chance of him dying everday. doesn't seem fair to you or anybody else for that matter
