Suppose my wife divorced me because had an affair with another woman. My wife doesn't want me back. Am I, the divorcee, allowed to marry someone else?

Suppose I've been married. My wife and I have been together for 18 years, and raising 3 beautiful children together. But then my stupid self had an affair with another woman. As a result of my adultery, my wife divorced me, most likely never taking me back. I messed up big time. I lied to my wife and kids. I forgive myself of course. But I've proven myself untrustworthy. Let's say now 3 years go by and my ex-wife still decides she doesn't want me back. What I would like to know is that is it possible for me, the divorcee, to marry another woman, thus not cheating on her like I did my last wife?
