Most will say cheating, but they don't think of ghosting like I do.
Imagine being married in a relationship for a few years, and your spouse just vanishes... real life ghosting you.
You spend days, weeks, months or even years wondering what happened. Missing person reports and all that.
You could either never find them again and think something bad happen.
Or
In the case of one of my friends her mother did that when she was little, just vanished... then years later, found out her mom just left cause she didn't want to be a mom or a wife, and went to another state to start her life over.
There she eventually married a new man, had a new family.
So how would cheating be worse than that?

If you’re in a relationship then I think cheating is worse. In a relationship and being ghosted is also bad but doesn’t automatically mean they were cheating. If you’re not in a relationship then they can’t cheat.

Cheating, because that's betrayal of someone you trust and know and love. Ghosting, you hardly even know that person. The sting of cheating is far more devastating.
I think ghosting is worse since it has reverse psychological effects. Also cheating is more straightfoward.
