Why are some boys so cruel?

They haven't moved on from their previous one sided love or ex, still miss her everyday BUT have the audacity to also see other girls and we end up getting hurt after we find out how he is still missing his past lover.

They lie to us that they've forgotten her and moved on, then they talk to us, give us special attention.
But we catch them missing her again.

WHY DO THESE GUYS DO THIS?
I swear karma should treat them even worse in future.

Probably not just a guy thing. But speaking from experience..
When a guy does this, it doesn't mean he is not interested in committing to you. People take time to get over past lovers and if someone new come in the picture before that happens, it would be sad to pass on what would potentially be a new page with a person that you can possibly fall in love with.
And anyone who is struggling to move on from someone else would hope that the new relationship would be the solution to that.

I agree but what if your past lost love comes back to you then what will you do? Ditch the new girl more likely :( but yeah I do get what you mean but at least he should have been honest that he is still on the process rather than lying to me. It only complicated things more, my trust and heart both are broken.

I think women are the more guilty ones for using guys to get over their ex. Guys often at least try to put in a solid effort

All those guys are just immature. All they care about is themselves and don't mind stepping over women.

Do you think they truly loved their previous love or exaggerate it on their pages to get sympathy? Maybe it's just that they were curious about the missed sex opportunity and beating themselves over that.

I think it could be either but they need to decide wether they're ready for another relationship.

Yeah I just removed him from everywhere after I saw how he lied to me. Liars will only defend themselves if we confront them it's my experience, no need to teach them a moral lesson or get angry at them, just cut off and let them wonder what happened.
