Because girls not only still sleep with them, but they overwhelmingly CHOOSE to sleep with them, because they aren't "boring" like decent guys are. Most girls will pick "exciting" (even if that comes with "dangerous and immoral") over "boring and reliable" every time.

It's not just boys. It's all humans. Some do it deliberately. Some are clueless. Some don't know any better. It sucks when it impacts you. Most people can't or won't change it. I wouldn't spend any energy on that unless they're family and even in some of those cases you can't fix it.
