Boyfriend broke up with me because one day he called me I was drunk he thought I had cheated he has been cheated on before by his wife and other women he told , me the real reason why he broke up with me was he didn’t want to physically hurt me he has domestic charges for beating his wife and other women and he said he’s not ready for a relationship I feel like these are all excuses , was I not good enough for him? Was he just not into me or attracted to me like that? I feel like if he did like me he would not have dumped me or one thing

If he's willing to come off as a wife beater just as an excuse, he's not someone I would want to be involved with. Either it's true and he's sick in the head, or it's not true and he doesn't mind coming off as being sick in the head. Either way, he's got issues.
