I dated a guy for only a few weeks, but he rushed things really fast. He gave me money (even for my tuition), told me he loved me, talked about marriage, kids, and me moving in with him all so early , told his mom about me asked to see my parents, posted me online , drove me where I wanted. At first it felt exciting, but I also started feeling hesitant and scared because it was too much, too soon. I even said maybe we should break up, not because I really wanted to, but because I was stressed with work and overwhelmed by how much he was giving me. I told him I did want to be with him, I was just nervous and wanted to go slower.

He told me he missed me and loved me on vacation and I replied with ‘me too ❤️🥰🥰’ and said I was going to Caribana. He told me to ‘have fun,’ but right after that he deleted all our pictures together and broke up with me, saying there’s no future. I don’t understand why say he loved me and wanted all these things, then end it so suddenly? Why was he so intense and controlling one minute, but then so quick to walk away?

I tried but he wouldn’t reply he said there’s no point. He said he doesn’t think I want this relationship the way he wants it

If that’s his mindset then try making it yours too. Don’t lose sight of why you even wanted to break up, he was lovebombing as hell and it was weird. I hope you don’t feel regrets over that because you initially did make the right choice. I think something is seriously wrong with a man like that. I dated one. Broke up exactly the same, so strange and fleeting and careless. That can’t be normal.
