How the fuck do marriage counselors justify blaming the husband for the wife's infidelity?

Seriously it makes no sense. She tried to tell me that because I refused an open marriage, that her cheating was my fault. I asked "is it my fault if I cheat?" the counselor responded that yes any time a man cheats its his fault.. I said " so it's my fault if I cheat and my fault if she cheats?" she Said because women have no traditional power, it's always the man's fault if she cheats as well" I called her a worthless fucking feminist, and told my soon to be x wife that it's not that hard to keep her legs closed. Fucking unreal. I told them both to fuck them selves and I was done with counseling.

Just an FYI, I never, not once, was abusive, nor did I cheat. I could never hurt someone like that.

I know this happens because it has happened to men I know. There is a very outdated (and sexist) notion that men cheat for selfish sexual gratification and women cheat because their man isn't meeting their emotional needs, making women the "victim" in all cases of cheating.

The fact is no one cheats if their needs are not being met, and women under about age 30 actually cheat more than men. It's a very sexist mindset that is still pervasive today, especially among feminists.

Rough as this is for you, you are better off in the long run without her. Do yourself a favor and hire a divorce lawyer who specializes in men's rights, because ALL other divorce lawyers only specialize exclusively in women's rights by default. That's just the way it is.

My cousin used Cordell & Cordell and they helped him out a lot. I could be wrong but I believe they are a national firm.

Screw the couples counseling. Present your wife with some divorce papers. Also in general there is no explaining away cheating. It does not matter if the man did or the women, it also does not matter if both are cheating. Simply because in the end if you cheat you are a pos.
