What to tell your child why they won't see there step father anymore but there sibling will?

I have a 5 year old and a 3 yesr old the partner brought up my 5 year old since he was born and brought him up like his own we then had another child who is now 3 years but I have split up with my partner now and he has made it very clear that he only wants to see my 3 yesr old who is his and tells me he will have everything its breaking my heart now about my 5 yesr old and just do no hoe to go about things i feel like not mentioning it as he is young and will get confused and would forget eventually but he is going to be so confused and asking things when he still comes to pick up my younger child what do I say if he starts asking things ☹

Why did you chase the father away? He probably believes the other child isn't his and that you cheated on him.

What you mean? I haven't chased anyone away or cheated on anyone I was 17 when I had my 5 year old and his biological father diddnt want to no? I have not chased anybody away or cheated or anybody were have you gotten that from

My 3 year old is biologicaly his my 5 year old isn't but as he brought him up since birth for 5 years he started calling him dad etc was to young to explain now we have split and his making it clear he only wants to no my 3 year old

Totally but how do I say that to a 5 year old? Telling him the man he called dad for the past 5 years isn't really his dad and his dad didn't want to no when I was pregnant then he will start asking why about that to I have no idea what to tell him but he will definitely be asking why to things ☹
