Why do so many multi year relationships or marriages end?

if it's fine talking about it, why did your long term relationship end? How would you get multiple years in or even marry without realizing you aren't meant for each other?

Women go into marriage with unrealistic expectations and they don't have the commitment to work on things and make the marriage work. That has been my observation and the facts support it. Half of marriages end in divorce and women file 70% - 80% of those. And studies show lack of commitment is the #1 reason for divorce. Add to that the financial and legal incentive women have with our female-biased court system and we have a recipe for a lot of failed marriages.

I do not know but it does happen. It is sad.

Because people fail to recognize mismatched values and incompatibility. Instead they cling on to the idea that things will one day work out
