My ex says our baby isn’t his.. he wasn’t saying this at first?

My ex got me pregnant and doesn’t want anything to Do with me or the baby. He’s been telling people it isn’t his. But he’s still begging me to abort it. If the baby isn’t his according to him why is he telling me to abort it. I’m confused he says it isn’t his baby but still wants me to kill it

Because he is avoiding some feelings, in essence... it's sadness. Whats under that isn't clear... maybe he's afraid, ashamed (of himself). People are like an iceberg... you see a little part on top and the real stuff is hidden underneath. He's a child inside and sadly, he's more confused than you are and you are the one whose hormones are shifting. The man is supposed to be the stable one.

If you looked into his past childhood you may find the answer, and I can only guess he had issues with his father not being there.

People will lie to themselves, deceive, run, etc.. It's the fight/flight/freeze response. He's acting out of emotions other than "love". In a way, he's self deprocating himself and thus his offspring. Maybe he loathes himself?

Question is how to get him to come off the mountain and own up to being a daddy. A big job... therapy is a start, finding God, etc..

We just had a little kiddo in the family. He's cute, needy, it's an amazing thing to make life and watch them grow. I don't think you want to mis that, but it may be hard at times, especially since you in reality... have two children to deal with. I can only hope you both rise above and accept your roles, take parenting classes.

Well, certain states have certain laws about abortion now anyways, so you'd have to look that up
Also, he has the RIGHT to say he doesn't HAVE to be with you, but, if it is indeed his, you can then sue him for child support, if you decide to have it (and or if you're not even allowed to abort)
