so my ex and I broke up in July of 2021. I had to move away a few months later because he wouldn’t leave me alone even though he broke up with me. We’ve seen eachother many times since and there’s feelings on both ends but something stops him from committing. It’s almost as if every time we have a good time, he goes and sees a new girl or some girl a couple of days later. I’ve lessened the times I’ve seen him a lot, it’s rare and I’ve never reached out to him. All communication comes from him. The other night after I had dinner with his sister for the first time in 7 months, he texted me. I ended up meeting up with him for a drink and found out it was a coincidence. He has no idea his sister was with me.. he called his mom to prove it. Anyway we talked for hours upon hours. He told me how no girl has ever measured up to me and I’m a lot to compare to. Told me when he thinks of his ex before me, he pictures their dogs and when he pictures me, he pictures my face and all of our memories. I could go on and in but it seemed so genuine. He told me he got scared after our date in November bc it had been so long since we had a date and he wasn’t expecting to have such a good time. I was so happy because I thought that we had finally talked out everything that had happened and he was telling me how much he cares about me. at the restaurant my key got locked in my car and he rescued the day by fixing the key. And then said remind me to get a new battery for your key. Just all is the thoughtful things.
Well just a few days ago when I left he said he had a good time and wanted to do something next week when he has time off of work.
then I find out he’s had a girl from work over all night last night and all of today.
I know he doesn’t date much or go out much and then it seems to be every time we have ab amazing time, something like this happens. Is this self sabatoge or coincidence? I don’t know why he can’t move on from me but can’t commit.
