What should I do about my ex always coming back and crying?

So I left a few months ago. My now ex boyfriend keeps popping up he showed up to my house crying wanting me back but I declined. He called me stupid and was being disrespectful to me during our relationship and I just didn't want to deal with it anymore. We had a long relationship like 7 years but he wants to make it work and the tears and crying made me feel bad. I always feel bad for people I know don't deserve it.
