Some people just want juicy details or they actually want to understand.

I have a friend that refused my help in a Captains mass case for having fireworks in his drawer. I remember the guy that actually did it and was willing to testify. I was left with nothing but questions. Years later a friend informed me it was because he was fucking the Personnel Officer and being on restriction somehow allowed him to spend time with her. I'm still confused as all fuck and have questions. That might be your mom... just doesn't understand fully and is trying to make sense of it all. Either that or she just wants salacious juicy gossip like details... some people like drama type stuff.
