The only time was with the only woman I’ve ever loved. I was head over heels for her but she was chasing after other guys. She rejected me but afterwards she became one of my closest friends. We agree we aren’t meant to be together romantically but both feel the other is a “kindred spirit.”

One reason why i remember an ex i had is because i was always imagining things i could do with her. Go on long walks, ride bikes together, even go on a vacation together... She seemed so special.

Then she dumped me after a week of dating and didn't tell me why.
