Will he come back?

Recently I mess up our relationship and he left me and we've been on and off a lot but he told me we are officially over, if I give him space what is most likely chance he will come back, also all the other relationships he's been with he has no contact with them or even had a second chance he just leaves and never comes back, the reason we broke up bc I didn't give him respect, or being trustworthy I was always lying over stupid stuff (which could be a huge deal for him and that's what I took advantage of) but is there away to give him space but also focus on myself and fix the stuff I messed up on and him coming back, I'm just scared if I give myself time he will find someone else.
