my long distance boyfriend broke up w me almost a year ago and he hasn’t even reached out to me yet.. do guys come back after a long time? or since he let me go and it’s been a year i should just stop waiting? i reached out may of last year but he didn’t respond for 3 days and when he did it was less than 3 words of a reply.

If your long distance boyfriend has not made a move to reconcile or to try to contact you within one year, then you can reasonably assume that he will not reach out to you now.

I fear that he even forgot that you ever existed because to me, it shows that you were not important enough in his life to try to reach out to you, even after you have attempted to contact him.

It is useless to wait because I fear that you have been replaced a while ago. If a person does not attempt to reconcile within a few weeks, then it is a lost cause. You better move on because he has done it a year ago.
