I dated this guy for 2 months, he was not ready for a relationship and wanted to take things slow as he has a lot going on business wise, and just got out of a toxic relationship a year ago.
We were both really good to each other, saw each other and spoke often. We had an issue and after that he said he needed some time to work out his feelings. He called me a few days later saying he’s on the fence and not entirely sure but he thinks we should break up. He said he realizes how good I have been to him, and that he doesn’t think he can give me what I deserve right now as he’s starting a business and doesn’t even have time for himself.
I asked him if he wants to go our separate ways and he was really appalled that I would even ask him that? I told him he won’t hear from me again, and he said I would hear from him.
I messaged him the next day saying it’s really hard for me and apologized for my reaction to him. He said thanks for coming around and it’s hard for him too, but he thinks he just needs some time to figure out what he really wants.
He messaged me again the next day saying hey just checking in and made normal convo. I had removed him from my social media, but I posted a picture later on my story and noticed he liked it, which means he searched for my page and watched my story.
Why is he still keeping in contact like this if he needs time and broke up with me?
