The reason for my divorce was my ex wanted it, but I did not. I thought we should stay and work on the conflicts but she had no interest in that. She gave me what was an obvious excuse - "I just don't want to be married any more" - and never told me the real reason for the divorce. I don't suspect that she was cheating on me.
Sometimes, you don't get the closure you want, and this was one of those times. That was 8 years ago, I have moved forward, been in a few relationships since then, and found the woman who I think will prove that "forever" can actually be forever.
No divorce yet... married for 14+ years. But who knows... I doubt we'll split at this point. We've both got the cheating stuff out of our system and just worked through all the issues that came up.
The current issue is I'm all buff and look like a fitness model and she has a receding hairline. It's just life... she's gonna go bald I swear. I'm going to be buff and sexy enough to pull some really hot chicks and she's going to be bald and fat and probably grow a mustache. WTF God! I asked for a hot Asian chick... not a Asian chick that is turning into a man with a vagina! Fuck you God!
Make sure you marry much younger than you. Women age like milk. I drink and smoke like a gangster and she has all the fucking problems. I'm gonna buy a couple real dolls for reals.
Sounds like you need to trade up.

We got married at a young age to have a family. Once our kids got old enough, they no longer needed us, and we realized that we had achieved our goal. So, after 20 years of marriage and no longer intimate, we amicably divorced.
In hindsight , and it was a very long time ago , I believe ( well I'm sure actually ) that my wife had post natal depression , at the time I didn't even know what that was , if the truth be known we never ever never should have been married in the first place , and she deliberately fell pregnant , I'm happy for that now , but it was one of those marriages that should have just never happened.
I cringe when I occasionally have to see her now , there was so much I didn't know , about the whole clan of them , and I should have made it my place to know , foolish mistake on my part. I ticked communication , but a mix of many things.
Just saw her actually when I was back in Brisbane - OMG molonski2 , what were you thinking boy? Obviously not much , but kept it civil till my daughters grew up.
First marriage crumbled when she preferred her own family more than me or our kid.
Second marriage ended due to career paths had me move 1000 miles away and we both wanted to keep the jobs we had. We're still good friends.
Third marriage still going strong after 25 years.
Glad you found your true love. Did you get full custody of your child from the first marriage?
You forgot "mental illness" which is actually the cause of a lot of men filing for divorce. Some Cluster B personality disorders (histrionic, borderline) are much more common among women and nearly impossible to cope with, even for professionals.
Thanks, didn’t think about this
I've not been divorced myself, but there have been 2 in my family due to cheating, and 1 due to sickness. But there have also been 3 marriages that didn't divorce from cheating, and 2 that didn't divorce from sickness. So... I don't know, it all seems very complicated.
I never remarried after my wife past on. It's not that I'm not committed to a relationship, I just know I would never be unfaithful and my word is my word, which is better than having a marriage license these days.
I’ve never been divorced,(or married yet), and the only reason I’m single after having a girlfriend is because she passed away.
I’m sorry.
I’ve never been divorced/something else
But my parents had a no-fault divorce
I say communication she will say because my alcoholism

My ex wife was unfaithful and refused to stop her affair so I divorced her.
the leading cause of anyone's divorce is marriage lol 😋
cheating abuse by her but she would say lack of communication from me but communicating with her was like walking on eggshells
