Is it okay for my ex to forgive his friend but not me?

Me and my ex friend are friends and we talked shit behind his back about him once upon a time. He was mad at both of us, cut her off and dumped me. I shortly learned he forgave and they're friends again but he's having trouble forgiving me and wants nothing to do with me.
