Why are men such idiots and let good women slip through their fingers?

I mean you hold her hand, stare into her eyes, tell her there is a connection, brag about her to your parents and family/friends, want to see her multiple times a week, call her everyday, tell her you just want to make her happy, tell her you enjoy talkingto her and talk to her everynight for hours, you bring up relationship early on, asking her about her family and etc...you tell her about yoru past and how " nice guys finish last", and how women use, cheat, and leave you allthe time. And tell her that you find it impossible to find a "good girl".

Why would you let a a good woman pass you by? Why would you suddenly change your mind out of the blue and say " you are not ready for a relationship after being so into her? Why would you try to introduce her to your family and then change your mind about wanting a relationship?

Why are men so dumb and let good women slip through their fingers. I mean if you are going to complain about being used and a wonderful woman comes along with nothing but care and compassion in her heart for you...why would you be so dumb to let her go?

I mean women aren't this dumb, we find a good man, we are holding on for dear life. Women will sink their fingers nails down into a good man and never let him leave. We know the value of it...men do it, then months/years later come to regret the one you let go. Why are guys so dumb? having grass greenier synndrome and only getting screwed int he end.

There are lots of people like this. But hey, in the game of life they will miss out. When you are getting married, they will still be single, because that is their choice. And it will be almost too late for them when they realize that their friends are all getting married and they are still hitting the bar scene. If a guy cannot find value in you, move on to another guy. I know it sucks when you invest time and love into a relationship, but if that guy can't see how good you are, then let him go. Those kind of guys are the fake nice guys. They say that women don't see the value in them, and that they were mistreated, cheated on, all that stuff. And then turn around and treat a good woman like crap. It's dumb, but at least you found out now, instead of after marrying him. Be positive and realize that this is your chance to find a decent guy who won't do that to you.

I know it sucks, I have been with a guy who did not appreciate me at all. He was good at first, but then started putting on all these demands and made me feel stupid. Then just plain told me one day he didn't love me anymore. That was just a cop-out for the real reason. I don't know what it was, and I don't care. I am glad he is out of my life because I have found a better guy. My new guy doesn't put all sorts of demands on me and he doesn't make me feel stupid.

It's just a matter of time. Change up where you are going to meet guys, take on new hobby, or go to a social group. Find a new guy who won't be like that :) If he is a decent guy, he will see a good woman and make sure she sticks around :)

because they have not interest in marrying her or having something long term. it doesn't mean they don't think you a great girl, but my experience is they are just trying to have fun. "good" or "bad" girls are not a major part of the equation. moreover, there is a chance he saw something that he just could not deal with and negated the "goodness".

To be honest, most men (and women) are idiots when it comes to choosing a partner. No matter HOW good of a man a man is, if he'd rather let you go than to keep you, then he doesn't deserve you. You deserve SO MUCH better than that.

Not so sure about the comparison. More than one woman has had a good man and lost him because she decided she wanted some more validation for her attractiveness or really wanted to see what some hot guy was like in bed.

Women find a good man and are holding on for dear life... Not true. You may find a good man and hold on for dear life. But not all women. This goes both ways. Try not to stereotype. You will tend to get very heated results.
