Is there a number of heartbreaks before you find ‘the one’?

My friend went to a psychic years ago and she was told she would have 3 bad relationships before she met her husband. As far as I know, that's what occurred. She had 3 bad relationships and then her 4th relationship was her current husband and father of her kids. They are very happy so I am assuming they will stay together for life.
