One of the main reasons they are an ex, to begin with... I was only in love with their body. The personality or some other shit is what drove me away for the most part. Circumstances is what's played it's part with the woman I actually do miss... I got arrested for drinking past midnight and locked away for a year (military arrest/they made up a rule that you can't drink past midnight while I was on leave and nobody told me about it). By the time I could've got back with her... I decided to just let her go because I felt I was too much of a shit show for such a good woman.

I'm still friends with many of them. At times the sex, only because whoever she is in this case had particular talent, but that's REAL fleeting when I start to remember why it ended.

  I won’t say I’m guiltless and blame her for everything. That wouldn’t be fair. It’s been a bumpy road. I did make an effort for many years and then I just realized we were already done. So I’m moving on. And that means I pay the support as agreed, I continue to be a good dad. Help when asked but not obligated to do anything else. But I always help.
