What do you do when your ex-girlfriend commits suicide?

Many years ago, when I was in college, my best friend's girlfriend committed suicide. It shook him up pretty bad. His friends and I supported him emotionally for several months, including him in various activities, finally getting him to date other girls. A few years later he met a woman he ended up marrying, and they've been married for 30 years.

Wow, did that actually happen to you? I've heard that, unlike women, men tend not to blame themselves for what other people do. So I guess if I was a guy with a suicidal girlfriend, I'd wonder what was wrong with her.

try to put it into perspective what happened, accept what was, take any lessons learned about yourself and them, honor their memory, get therapy maybe.

I'm sorry for your loss... and hers. Relationships can be very painful and life as well. It seems people maybe don't have the strength and support systems sufficient for this modern world.

I'd probably be sad that she took her own life... I don't have animosity for my exes. What else am I supposed to do? It's not like I can bring her back to life. I'd be sorry to see her go.

You post on social media that they were your ex & how you're not doing well so that everybody knows that they were your ex & how you're not doing well so that hopefully people send you money for not having an ex & also not doing well anymore.

pull the toaster out the bath after turning off the electricity.
wipe my fingerprints off the toaster and put her dead hands on it then drop it into the bath with her.
then go the mains, turn electricity back on and call an ambulance.

people bothered to tell me about 2 or 3 of my exes did suicide, i replied "she shouldn't have dumped me".
