When an ex who still keeps in contact with you tells you to move on during a fight ; does he mean this out of anger?

Girl, when dudes say stuff like that during a fight, they usually ain't being totally serious. Guys tend to lash out and say hurtful things when they're pissed, even if they don't fully mean it.

My advice would be - don't listen too closely to anything said in the heat of an argument. People say dumb shit they don't mean. Your ex is probably still hung up on you if y'all keep in contact.

If you did actually fully move on, there's a good chance he'd start freaking out and trying to win you back. Their ego can't handle knowing you're over them! They want you to still be pining so they have the upper hand.

I'd lay low from him for a bit after a fight like that. Give it time to cool off and see if he tries reaching out again on better terms. Bet he'd act all sweet and sorry. That's when you'll know he didn't truly mean for you to move on for real.

Guys hate losing control or the last word. So take anything said in anger with a grain of salt, sis. The way he acts when y'all are chill will tell you more about how he really feels. Don't let one heated comment mess with your head!
