My girlfriend is so petite that I'm afraid I'll break her, every time I touch her, advice?

So I'm quite big, I'm 6'4, I've been a swimmer growing up and overall quite athletic. My last girlfriend was pretty athletic herself, so that never was an issue but my new girlfriend is so small with almost no muscle at all. She's really pretty and feminine and I lover her but her legs are basiclly the same size as my underarms, my hands almost cover her entire back and generally she seems so delicate that I'm afraid every time I hug, I might squeeze to tight and hurt her.

We haven't had sex yet but that would be pretty hard for me too. It's ridicoulous, how do I get over this?

Talk to her about it. Ask her to tell you when you're being too rough so you know her limits. But just because she's tiny doesn't mean you are going to break her like a tooth pick. Maybe if you try, but since your not and she SHOULD tell you when its too much, then you really don't have anything to worry about.

With sex, same thing. Ask her to tell you what's too much. And try to get her to take control. That way you don't have to be the one fully dominating so you don't have to worry so much.

Honestly though, unless she has some kind of condition, she won't break as easily as you think.

I don't think you can "get over it". I think all you can do is little by little do a little more with her and listen for her response. Squeeze her, pick her up, and you'll know if she's OK with it. If you're not sure... just ask!

She won't break haha. It's not like your a massive body builder who's 6x her size.

Besides, she probably quite likes the fact your hands are almost the same size as her back. I read on an answer that she has a bit of pudge, I have a pudge too, and I like it when someone's hands are like that - makes me feel little!

don't be scared lol. she's tougher than she looks. I'm pretty petite myself, 5'2, 97 lbs. she won't break if you hug her haha... and I'm sure if she does experience any kind of discomfort, she'll speak up about it, you can encourage her to do so. maybe you feel like this because you yourself are particularly tall and athletic. regardless, you won't break her! :p

I'm a bit over 6' and in shape and never had problems with petite women. I think skinny women can take more than fatter women if you consider overweight people tend to have more bone/joint problems along with much more aches and pain. Just don't slap against her hard during sex (you shouldn't be doing those to any girl unless she tells you she wants it). If your winy is way too big for her your obviously not gonna be able to put it all the way in >< but then there's a good chance this could happen with taller girls too.

There are other ways of having sex that you don't have to be directly contacting her body with yours. Unless she has some kind of degenerative bone disease or something, I highly doubt you'd seriously hurt her simply by hugging her. Especially if you're careful. Alternatively: Feed her cake... everyday!

That's sweet but I think maybe you are worrying too much. She may be small compared to you but unless she has brittle bone disease or some other sort of sickness, it is extremely rare for you to hurt her or "break her" unless you intentionally set out to hit her.

No matter how fragile she may look in your view, the human body is actually quite sturdy or at least sturdy enough that it is highly unlikely you can injure her just by a hug.

Don't worry about it. You won't break her. I am 5'4 and I like to be handled roughly.  I love tall men, I just want to jump on them.  So maybe she's OK with it.  Just ask if you are hurting her at first so that you know how much she can take.  I think seeing the size difference between you is making you more scared.  She will be ok.

i feel you bro. I am the same 6'3.5 and I weight close to 200 pounds nd athletic (heavy bones). I always break things and hurt people (my bro, mom, friends and my ex)with out meaning to. just be gentle with her and move on her command lol if you don't bump your elbow to her(did that at agas station lady almost passed out lol) I think you will be fine plus be careful with your hips when you actually have s.e.x with her I hurt a petit girl like that before.

i think your just worrying a little too much about it. and it will be something you will get over with time. unless you try to intentionally do something to hurt her (not that you would) I doubt you would do any serious damage.

Ahh I know your problem all to we'll, my girlfriend is a previous rape victim which made matters a lot worse, she'd never slept with a guy with consent before. She also is very petite although I'm only 5'11 to her 4'11... You just have to take things a bit slower and make sure she's ready if you get what I'm talking about. There's no need to be nervous, just don't rush into things to quickly, you won't break or hurt her.
