Ex Fiance Sister reaching out to me,?

In December I called of my engagement to my ex fiance. He lied about so many things, insulted me, my mom and my whole family members. His family turned their backs on me. When I ageeed to marry him, why I made the decision to say yes was because I thought I had a family in his family. His mom will call me her precious gift, the dad will beg me , please manage our son for me. He has been engaged two times before me, and married once and divorced. He told me the women were all liars and the reason he left. Recently just found out his ex wife was the one that asked for divorce. Initially I was offended that no one from the family reached out to me after everything especially his sister since she was my friend and she told my to warn me not to be calm writ her brother and that he is looking for a woman to walk all over and she won’t date anyone like her brother. All of a sudden after 3 months of no contact or none of his family reaching out to me or my family. The sister reached out saying she is thinking of me and the mom reached out to my mom saying she is praying for the will of God to be done. I just realized he unfollowed my mom on social media. I don't know what to make of his sister suddenly reaching out. I haven’t sent him back his ring. Thinking of finally doing it. Thoughts on this whole family situation?

That whole situation sounds so messy and dramatic. I wouldn't trust that family at all after how they treated you.

The sister reaching out now seems suspicious. Like maybe his mom put her up to it to get info on you or try to manipulate things. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just nosey about why you kept the ring for so long.

If his own sister warned you about what he's like before, I'd believe what she said originally over anything they say now. People usually don't change that fast.

I say send the ring back with no contact. You don't owe them any explanations. You made the right call leaving, so don't look back now. Let them wonder what you're thinking on your own terms without responding.

You deserve so much better than a guy who lies and disrespects you like that. His family showed their true colors too. Focused on moving forward with your life without all that drama!
