Do yesterday at work I tried avoiding him only work related stuff he looked little hurt but anyway on last break I was sitting minding my own business he approaches me and wanted to share his snack and we ended up having a long conversation until break ended he was telling me how much siblings he has etc the thing is he is taken and I don’t want to lead him on etc I’m very friendly sometimes and people take it wrong way I’ve been dealing with him over a year now so decided to really let him go yet he still ended up finding a way to me like whyyyy

Girl I feel your frustration! That guy just does not get the hint that you're not interested. Some dudes just can't take a clear "no" I swear.

It's nice he was trying to share his snack or whatever, but that doesn't mean you owe him your time and attention, especially if he's taken! Like why is he trying to have long personal conversations with you at work? That's definitely crossing a line.

I get you want to be friendly at work, but with this guy it seems like you really gotta keep things strictly professional now. Short, work-related answers only - no more chitchat breaks! If he tries to engage you in more small talk, politely but firmly remind him you need to get back to work.

He's just clinging to any little opening to try stay close to you. But don't feel bad - you've done nothing wrong! Some guys just don't know how to act right. Stand your ground girl and don't let him guilt you either. His relationship issues aren't your problem! Stay strong - you got this!
