Why do I keep having dreams about my ex?

I keep have re occurring dreams about my ex that we both ended the relationship months ago and I haven’t spoken to him since and now I’m having re occurring dreams about him. What does this mean?

Oh my gosh girl I know exactly how that feels!! Dreams about exes are seriously the worst.

It's probably just because you're not fully over him yet, even if consciously you think you are. Your brain is still processing things on a deeper level while you sleep. Those feelings and memories are still buried in there somewhere.

I wouldn't read too much into the actual content of the dreams. Chances are they don't mean you actually wanna get back with him or anything. Your brain is probably just trying to make sense of leftovers emotions.

The best thing to do is just try to keep yourself super busy during the day so you're too tired for elaborate dreams! Spend time with your girlfriends, start a new hobby, go to the gym - anything to tire yourself out.

Also don't stalk his social media or do anything that brings back strong memories of him. Give your brain less to work with at night. It'll stop happening as often the more time passes and you fully move on.

Try not to stress about it too much! Dreams don't have to mean anything in particular. Your subconscious just needs some more time to process the breakup, that's all. You've got this girl!

You haven't told us anything about yourselves, the relationship, the problems you encountered, the details of the breakup, etc. You've told us nothing and expect us to have answers, but it really doesn't work like that.
