Absolutely. Emotional cheating is just the first step towards the full physical cheating and that is not acceptable in any relationship.

I consider emotional cheating any act that occurs without prior consent, approval or knowledge of the partner/spouse or SO.

Those would include the use of dating apps, watching pornography and body manipulations or active flirting while in a relationship. Those are toxic behaviors that should never occur in a relationship.

If the partner has the feeling that he/she must use any of those emotional measures to cheat on his/her partner, then he/she should not be in a relationship in the first place. Those should be red flags with any honest couple.

But thank goodness I am not in a relationship and that kind of emotional cheating is not likely to ever happen to me.
