Call the cops and show them the vehicle. File a police report and take that to your local courthouse to file for a restraining order.
First thing you should do is knock on all the houses close by to where it was parked and see if they have CCTV.. you need that as evidence. Then you go and get quotes.. get three.. and then report it to the police with the evidence and repair costs.. log it for a crime number.. Then you take out an injunction against him.
Good luck.. I hope it all works out ok for you!
My guess is (and I hope I'm wrong) but the damage looks to be severe enough to count as a right off!

The short answer is yes but it's hard to tell from such a limited pic. Depending on the extent of the damage it might not be worth it
I doubt insurance would bother.
Take him to court.

holy shit, i'd get a lawyer and if you have proof he did this, EVEN BETTER. he'll have to pay for it. take him to court. then get a restraining order
he was very abusive that’s why I left the relationship He’s actually been arrested for what he did to the car, the night that happen he hopped in my car and forced me to take him somewhere private. That’s when he started to choke me. I defended myself and that’s when he got upset and started to destroy my car I ended up calling the cops when the cops came he had a lot of marks on him. The cops arrested me for assault with deadly weapon the cops arrested him as well but only for destroying the car now he’s trying to manipulate me saying that if I drop his charges, he’ll drop mines. This is so much stress. On me because I’m at risk of going to prison for defending myself not only that I don’t have a car no more and my job fired me….
