How do you deal with the trauma after divorce?

The first thing you have to do is take 20 deep breaths sit down make a list of all the positives and all the negatives but you have to be 100% honest I mean 100% honest no matter what...
And then after you're done doing that you have to acknowledge it you just got a divorce then you have to accept it once you do those two things it makes it easier but you have to be honest with yourself you have to know that no matter what

It was for the right reasons and you have to accept that and even if they weren't for the right reasons you better find the positives and negatives out of it because I guarantee there's more negatives than there are positives and one day you will be happy that it happened because you will find somebody that is 10 times better than what you had

The reason why you got divorced is because somebody wasn't happy

When one person isn't happy that means two people aren't happy and that means one person is going to make the other person unhappy because of their choices they make and you don't want that person that is going to do that

You want the person that will stand there and battle and become the best that they can become for the other person you weren't going to get that accept it except how you were treated acknowledge it and then walk away you're the only person on the inside of you you're the only person that can make you feel good you're the only person that can make you feel bad the more you think about all what we could have had and blah blah blah blah blah blah the longer it's going to take for you to get over this one step in front of the other first thing acknowledge it and accept it everything in this world happens for a reason I guarantee it you will find a positive about it sooner or later the faster you accept it the faster you will find the positive. And no matter what smile every single day if you want to make your day feel better you make yourself look so freaking good it's unreal that every time he sees you he says what the hell did I walk away from her for

You become that person that you always wanted to become take that challenge and do that make him wish that he never did walk away from you because I guarantee you if you do that there's going to be 20 guys knocking at your door

As for every journey it starts with one small step & as for a relationship some of us have been through good relationships & unfortunately some of us have been through bad relationships & some of us haven’t experienced a relationship at all.

As for life it isn’t easy but then again it isn’t hard & as for life some people have a lot on their plate & some people have a buffet. As for life the only way to move is forward & as for life you have to take it one day at a time & one moment at a time as well. As for life it’s going to throw a lot of things your way & some of those things really hurt & when it hurts it always helps to talk about it. Talk to a friend, talk to a family member, talk to a therapist, talk to a support group or talk to a total stranger & talking about it will help you on the road to recovery & it will help you slowly join the world around us as well.

As for me I have never been married & if truth be told I can’t advise you on divorce but what I can do is listen.

Easier said than done , you just have to focus on yourself and put the past behind you as much as possible , start hanging out with friends more and find a hobby you can focus on to help keep your mind off of things , in time those memories will slowly fade away. After my wife and I separated , I eventually took a trip with some friends and got away from everything for a week , I was able to vent to my friends and I was grateful for their support. So vent as much as you want to a close friend or someone you can trust , that will help you also ’make time for yourself , try to stay active as much as possible , don’t sit around to much by yourself , because it gives you more time to think about your ex. So don’t do that lol Start mingling with people , and just have fun , don’t rush into another relationship with a guy , just take things slow. If you meet another guy , just be honest with him and don’t rush into anything.

Never went through one because it’s really hard, it’s really really hard. Especially if someone’s been married for a long time you have spent your whole life with this person since marriage. To one day it’s all over whether it’s for cheating reasons or something else. Even if that person was absolutely horrible it’s so hard unless you’re some sort of psychopath that’s maybe not the case.

If someone says they just moved on either they’re lying or they are someone you should stay far away from. A normal person cannot get a divorce and simply feel nothing. It’s hard because you have to grieve that. Especially when children are involved.

You just cannot look at the memories the same anymore especially if you found out that you’ve been being lied to. You’re looking back at all these memories and realize it was all a lie…
