Could My Ex Be Pretending to Be a Fortune Teller to Contact Me?

Last year, someone with a fake account contacted me through my fortune-telling account, asking for a reading. After that, they somehow turned my account into a fortune-telling platform and started reaching out to me repeatedly. They often brought up personal details about my ex, even encouraging me to unblock them. At one point, they’d block me, disappear, and then come back weeks later asking things like, “Why didn’t you reach out to him? He broke up with his girlfriend.” I blocked them last year, but just recently, they reached out again under the guise of needing a reading. This time, they claimed to have a “sixth sense” and knew private details like the last conversations I had with my ex, what was said, and when we last spoke. For context, my ex and I briefly reconnected earlier this year. He tried to make small talk and get close (e. g., asking about old shows we watched together, helping me at the gym, etc.), but nothing serious happened. I eventually distanced myself. By the end of summer, he went back to the person he cheated on me with. Now I’m wondering: Could this “fortune teller” actually be my ex? Or is it someone else entirely with access to our past conversations? If it is my ex, why would he go to such lengths, especially after going back to the other person? I’m torn between thinking it’s him and not wanting to believe he’d do something so manipulative. What do you think? How can I figure out if it’s him?
