he ended things a year ago. We were only talking 3 months at that point. I'm still not over it and know he even got back on dating apps during our breakup period. He slid back in my dm's I caved responded and now we have been dating for 8 months and he plans to propose soon. To me 3 months meant a lot but to him I was a stranger. I don't know I think im just lover girl wanted him to be love at first sight with me.

That's rough. My only recommendation is to have more courage to say the things that are important to you. You really can't sustain a healthy long-term relationship without the ability to talk about the things that feel significant. After a while of not having the comfort and freedom to talk about your concerns it builds up, and the relationship grows more stressful and emotionally disconnected. Both need the ability to speak freely, and both need the willingness to listen to the other. This is one of the most basic elements of a healthy relationship.

I don't see what the problem is here. Tell him how you feel. He can't fix a problem that he doesn't know exist. Your feeling a valid but here's what I suggest you do. Stop worrying about that breakup you obviously love this man that's why you took him back. You and him are together now enjoy it enjoy being with that man you love. Dont let that old shit mess up your future with him. Ok!
