While it's probably ok to break up with someone any day, probably isn't the greatest to break up with someone on their birthday, or valentines day, or Christmas, etc..

I dont know but me and my "boyfriend" broke up both of those holidays... He wants me to come over tonight... Im sick of this wasted time I had with him
