Do you understand why it takes men longer to recover from breakups?

There are a few obvious reasons.

1. Men typically have to suffer a broken heart alone, w/out anyone to talk to

2. Society typically blames Men for all breakups. Think about it if a man breaks up w/ a woman he's a dog. If a women cheats on a man. He wasn't good enough for her.

3. It takes longer for men to get what they want after a breakup. This is why I believe men should always have multiple women. If you settle for one woman, then breakup, the women almost instantly receives attention from both genders. However you have to start from zeroe, finding a new girl, creating attraction, then finally having sex.

That did not make any sense... until the polygamy part! Man! to reach that conclusion.

If he is alone (point 1) then nobody knows to blame (point 2) him. If his parents blame him (2) he is not alone (1). Finally your expectations are an unfair double standard. She also needs "effort finding a new guy, by creating attraction".

@strateguy632 TY for response, but not sure you're responding to correct post. There's nothing about Pologamy in the original question. in my opinion relationships should be open on the man's end only if they are going to work. Also your points don't make sense, he can easily be alone while being criticized. No one mentioned parents. Takes women zero effort to find a man to give her attention. Takes men a lot of effort to find a women to have sex with.
